Quality Executive

Purpose:
Support the  Brand Quality Manager to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with regulations. Focus on supplier due diligence, responsible retailing, and communicating regulatory changes.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Degree in Food Science/Technology or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in food and non-food sectors.
- HACCP Level 3, TACCP qualification.
- Experience with supplier engagement, WRAP UK Plastics Pact, and GHG emissions reporting.
- Knowledge of ethical trading and SEDEX platform.
Desirable:
- Experience with household products, chemicals, or medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor product quality complaints and implement improvement plans.
- Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with Company policies.
- Manage data reporting for WRAP UK Plastics Pact and GHG emissions.
- Support risk management, crisis response, and legislative compliance.
- Maintain the Food and Responsible Retailing Hub platform.
- Ensure Modern Slavery compliance through SEDEX.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Organise workload efficiently and adhere to business processes.
- Execute projects and monitor progress.
- Communicate clearly and accurately with stakeholders.
- Develop positive relationships and gain trust.
- Engage in performance evaluation and development planning.
- Deliver high-quality work on time.
- Support team members through change.
