• Key Responsibilities:

· Reviewing customer feedback and understanding customer demands and expectations of products and

services.

· Head the plant level quality systems as a Management Representative.( MR )

· Managing waste in production and improving efficiency within production processes

· Creating production plans for new products with a focus on quality

· Assessing the quality of a product or services through a variety of stress tests

· Working with management teams to provide recommendations and solutions to quality issues

· Reporting on the quality of products and/or services throughout all phases of production

· Assessing and reviewing all materials provided by suppliers to ensure overall quality

· Investigating root causes of defects and recommending solutions for quality issues

· Onboarding and training new quality control team members.

· Staying up to date with new quality control techniques and methods

· Managing customer concerns through root cause analysis with clear action plan for execution and review

action plan against standard checklist and ensuring timely closure of NCs.

· Analyze warranty data and make customer wise clear action plan.

· Develop quality scorecard with improving trends on overall quality index in line with the quality policy and

through gap analysis and clear forward path.

· Make regular customer visit acknowledge their concerns and track proper initiation and closing of concern

before defined deadline and provide solution in line with customer requirement.

• Key Performance Indicators

The candidate will be responsible for overall quality function across the plant and all the Plant Quality personnel

shall be reporting to this position.

Plant quality targets need to be met.

Conducting and proving PPAP and Cp, Cpk exercises.

The candidate should be able to administer and set up inspection standards and parameters and conduct

process reviews for ensuring adherence to the parameter/system to avoid rejections.

The candidate should manage and effectively utilize NDT, Ultrasonic, MPI, Metallurgical lab, impact testing and UTM

machinery.

He should be able to execute product improvement process for resolution of field problems and coordinate the

same with other department members till resolution.

The incumbent shall implement QA & QC processes on various records & documents to monitor incoming & in-

process activities.

The incumbent should have exposure of discharging quality aspect in New Product Development and IPC

automotive standards.

The incumbent should have exposure to deal with OEMs and shall understand customer concerns and take

corrective action on customer complaints and internal failures.

Competencies:

 · Experience in related sector of tube manufacturing.

· Knowledge of Metallurgy and Heat treatment cycles.

· Familiar with facing IBR, PED, OSHAS, EMS audits.

· Experience in attending TUV, BVQI, Lloyds audits.

· Capability to handle the quality systems at plant level as a management representative. modern NDT, Ultrasonic, MPI, Metallurgical lab, impact testing and UTM machinery.

· Familiar with 5 CT.5L and 5 DP (couplings) API standards.

· Ability to set up inspection standards and parameters.

· Reviewing existing processes and improvise/ generate new process in alignment with organization goals.

· Execution of quality tools and techniques like PPAP, SPC, APQP, 8D & RCA etc.

· Meeting/ exceeding customer expectations by demonstrating high quality standards.

· Ability to develop framework for policies, systems & structures to institutionalize quality function.

· Empower team members to make decisions on their own by asking the input from team members regarding specific decisions or plans on a regular basis.

· Achieve desired and timely results by taking ownership of critical tasks and pushing initiative forward by remaining accountable throughout the initiative and deliver on commitments
