Quality Manager
Active since 1994, the company specializes in metal fabrications, subassemblies for the food industry, industrial furniture, and HVAC systems. It operates a modern production hall of over 6,000 sqm and employs more than 80 people. Purpose of the Role:
The Quality Manager role is essential for ensuring product and process quality in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Quality Manager will coordinate the implementation of the quality management system, supervise quality control in production, and actively contribute to continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Quality Management System
- Designs, implements, and maintains the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Periodically updates internal procedures, the quality manual, and related documentation.
- Coordinates the certification and recertification process, including relations with external audit bodies.
Quality Control in Production
- Defines and monitors critical control points in the production flow: laser cutting, CNC bending, MIG/TIG welding, painting, assembly.
- Supervises the quality control team and ensures compliance with technical and visual standards.
- Evaluates the conformity of finished products and subassemblies before delivery.
Audits and Inspections
- Plans and conducts periodic internal audits to verify compliance with procedures.
- Prepares the company for external audits (client, certification, regulatory) and prepares audit reports, following up on corrective actions.
Nonconformity Management
- Analyzes the causes of nonconformities and proposes corrective solutions.
- Coordinates the process of handling customer complaints and communicates with international partners.
- Monitors the effectiveness of implemented corrective and preventive actions.
Continuous Improvement
- Identifies opportunities for process optimization and reduces quality risks.
- Collaborates with Technical, Production, and Procurement departments to implement Lean solutions.
- Proposes investments in equipment or software that support quality control.
Training and Development
- Trains production personnel on quality standards and best practices.
- Creates training materials and organizes internal training sessions.
- Periodically assesses team competencies and proposes development plans.
Reporting and Indicators
- Monitors and reports relevant KPIs: nonconformity rate, remediation times, customer satisfaction.
- Prepares monthly/quarterly reports for company management.
- Actively participates in strategic planning meetings and contributes to quality objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
- Higher education in a technical field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, automation engineering, or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience coordinating maintenance or quality activities in a manufacturing company, with similar responsibilities.
- Advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and automation fields, with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong planning and organizational skills to ensure efficiency and continuity of production processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with strong task prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to foster a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Conversational level of English to communicate effectively within the team and with international partners.
