We are currently seeking a Quality Manager for an international enterprise which is specialized in manufacturing and extend the management teams in Romania.

                                               Quality Manager

The Quality manager will be responsible with the management of the quality department to ensure the leadership of a team and development of procedures and policies in order to align the quality of the production sector. 

The main responsibility will be to create and implement the best practices in terms of quality, to design the quality strategy, to support and improve operational performance.  The Quality Manager will have the own contribution to new initiatives and projects with impact on Quality activities.

The tasks and responsibilities of the position are:

• Ensure that quality management processes are established, implemented and maintained;
• Collects and manages quality performance indicators and proposes annual quality objectives;
• Acts as a consultant to all levels of management to meet EHS stability objectives and comply with established EHS policies and procedures;
• Represent the company in relation to QMS auditors, in relation to the auditors of customers, suppliers (including subcontractors), including monitoring nonconformities (complaints) identified in commercial relations with customers, suppliers; relating to the system;
• Performs on-site audits to meet global company standards.
• Responsible for quality in accordance with the ISO 9001;20015 standard and for the development, maintenance and implementation of all aspects of the EHS management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and 45001;
• Organizes monthly quality reviews and other quality review procedures according to the needs of the workshops;
• Analyzes non-conformities of purchased items, organizes and coordinates corrective, preventive and continuous improvement plans;
• Participate in the evaluation and assessment of suppliers;
• Proposes and leads the annual review of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001;
• Manage the waste generated by the activity, being the interface with service providers in this field;
• Develops and maintains energy management and implements an energy saving program;
• Prepares periodic reports on quality, environment, health and operational safety, on hazardous or habitual waste, waste resulting from current activity;
• Supervising the external supplier on the training sessions on occupational safety and health and emergency situations, prepares topics and tests provided by the legislation in force;

The profile we were looking for has:

• Higher technical studies;
• Good knowledge in various fields from the surrounding industrial environment;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards and ISO 50001 standard (nice to have);
• A good knowledge of the legislation and regulations applicable to the field of activity;
• Advanced level of English;
• Experience in using ERP / MRP systems is a plus;
• Good communication skills, analytical and proactive thinking, organizational ability, teamwork;
• Driving license – B.
