Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Real Estate Energy Efficiency Group Projects Manager with a strong background in project engineering within the energy sector.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing energy-related projects, with a focus on renewable energy expansion sites.

As the Projects Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives within real estate developments. Your responsibilities will encompass project control, site execution, project management, and ensuring seamless integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

This is an almost start up project and the ideal candidate must be from Bucharest, Constanta, Galati, Braila, Calarasi, Slobozia, or could be from Brasov or Pitesti as the far possible home place area.

Lots of travelling will be involved to South/East Romania (min 60%-70% especially in the beginning) 

Overall scope of the role : to support site expansion from the real estate development point if view (authorizations , land and construction assessment, cost control, investment efficiency, coordinate implementation teams etc).

Responsibilities:

1. Renewable Expansion Site Coordination:

• Utilize your expertise in renewable energy projects to coordinate and oversee the integration of renewable technologies in real estate developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify suitable sites for renewable energy expansion and assess the feasibility of proposed projects.
• Provide technical insight and recommendations to optimize the integration of renewable energy systems within real estate projects.

2. Project Control:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement effective strategies to keep projects on track.
• Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and addressing any project-related concerns.

3. Project Implementation:

• Oversee the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives in real estate projects, including the integration of renewable energy sources, HVAC systems, lighting solutions, and smart building technologies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
• Ensure that all project activities adhere to relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.

4. Site Execution:

• Supervise site activities to ensure proper installation, commissioning, and testing of energy systems and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
• Address any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the construction phase.

5. Project Management:

• Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage project risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.

6. Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Integration:

• Work closely with MEP teams to design and implement energy-efficient systems, ensuring optimal performance and sustainability.
• Review MEP designs and provide technical input to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy/  Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven expansion real estate experience (at least 5 years) in project management within the real estate, with proven projects developed
• Activity development in the energy sector  if possible with some focus on renewable energy new sites / existing sites expansion.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainable building practices.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing renewable energy projects in real estate developments is highly desirable.
• Solid project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration in real estate projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with project teams and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to address challenges with innovative solutions.
