Recruitment Specialist – International Transport
Location: Cluj-Napoca / Hybrid
Department: Human Resources
Role Purpose
In this role, you will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, with a primary focus on attracting and selecting Professional Drivers (C+E), as well as recruiting administrative and operational staff (Dispatchers, Logistics Specialists). You will act as the company’s ambassador in the market and serve as the first point of contact for future employees.
Responsibilities:
1. Driver Recruitment
- Drafting and promoting job advertisements on dedicated channels: OLX, Publi24, Facebook driver groups, LinkedIn, Jooble, etc.
- Active sourcing and direct outreach to candidates from the internal database or the external market.
- Conducting telephone pre-screening interviews, including verification of experience, required documents (C+E driving license, CPI/CPC certificate, tachograph card, permits), and professional background.
- Presenting the compensation package (salary + per diem) in a clear, fair, and transparent manner.
- Scheduling and coordinating practical/technical assessments in collaboration with the Fleet Manager.
2. TESA Staff Recruitment (Dispatchers & Administrative Roles)
- Identifying and selecting candidates with foreign language skills (English, German, French, Spanish) and relevant experience in transport and logistics.
- Assessing professional competencies and foreign language proficiency, including experience with transport exchanges (e.g. Timocom, Trans.eu).
3. Administration & Onboarding
- Managing and updating the candidate database (ATS / Excel).
- Collaborating with HR Administration / Legal teams to prepare employment documentation.
- (Optional) Managing relationships with recruitment agencies for non-EU personnel (e.g. Asia).
- Conducting exit interviews and collecting feedback to help reduce employee turnover.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in recruitment; experience in transport or within a recruitment agency is a strong advantage.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with transport-related terminology (driving schedules, rest times, per diem, ADR, CMR) is a plus.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively, directly, and honestly, adapting the communication style to the driver profile.
- English language: Conversational level.
- Digital skills: Proficient in PC use (MS Office), Social Media, and recruitment platforms.
- Personal skills: Stress resilience, strong organizational skills, perseverance, and results orientation (transport recruitment involves high volume and constant follow-up).
