Champion Job Description/ Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Board and Executive Committee of the company the Champion will be required to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Product Management/ Product Development Responsibilities:
Working on multiple fronts of product management and Product Development including but not limited to:
· Roadmap Planning: Deliver best in class features, usability and product performance consistently over ongoing tech releases of the platform. Ensure execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch, driving value
· Tech and UX: Deliver top quality technology platform and User experience
· Requirements Definition: Develop detailed product plans , product requirements and features taking into account customer needs , competitor landscape , using data and research, customer feedback and
· Product strategy and direction: Continually assess the needs of our customers and partners defining and evolving the product/platform and business strategy in order to deliver on our targets of client/user acquisition and retention
· Define and implement our AI strategy and solution.
· Develop our analytics and data strategy, including effective reporting using all the latest tools
· Define client acquisition and retention strategies and set KPIs including conversion KPis CAC, LTV and all metrics to marketing and sales
· Set budgets, KPIs, objectives, strategies and plans to launch and develop the platform in an ongoing manner.
· Work with designers and software developers to define best in class customer experience/UX
· Monitor progress of results and adjust as needed to deliver on the platform objectives
· Collaborate and engage all relevant partners’ stakeholders and suppliers to continually develop the technology and product
· Develop the brand
· Responsible for developing all marketing and PR activities for the business: Develop and execute a clear marketing and PR plan through relevant suppliers and agencies or in house if necessary
· Engage a software development function to build the platform according to the aforementioned targets and requirements
· Prepare a clear business plan and gain board and executive approval of same.
GENERAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITES:
Operations
· Responsible for supporting in the day-to-day operations of the business
· Responsible for identifying and effectively implementing process improvements
· Responsible for ensuring effective interfacing between all functions
· Responsible for the effective personal development of team members
· Responsible for identifying and recruiting necessary resources
· Reporting regularly to the company Board and Executive Committee on progress on all activities in timely manner
Business Development
· Responsible for leading and identifying relevant partnerships and collaborations
· Responsible for attracting new and retain existing B2B clients and inventory
· Responsible for driving and growing sales
· Responsible for managing and monitoring the performance and satisfaction of B2B clients and partners
Partnerships and collaborations
· Responsible for managing all partners and suppliers
· Responsible for supporting in the development of strategic partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors
Strategy and Corporate Development
· Responsible for supporting the Board and Executive committee on overall strategy
· Responsible for supporting the Board and Executive committee on organisational structure design
· Responsible for supporting the Board and Executive committee in developing the agreed Company Values across all employees
· Responsible for supporting the Board and Executive committee in identifying business development opportunities and executing them where applicable
· Responsible for supporting the Board and Executive committee in identifying and forging Strategic Partnerships wherever possible and applicable
· Responsible for supporting the Board and Executive committee in ensuring effective Internal Communication
Financial
· Responsible for developing the business plan / budget
· Responsible for achieving all agreed financial targets and budget
· Responsible for working with Company Management to ensure financial targets are achieved
· Responsible for cost efficiencies
Skills & Experience
§ 10-15 years of Product Management / Business creation experience - including digital /technology
§ Knowledge and awareness of the technologies required for the successful delivery of digital products and supporting technical infrastructure, including; ecommerce platforms, Martech , solutions, content management systems , CRM, ai , data etc
§ Experience in the software delivery lifecycle and UX development
§ Strong operations management skills with proven track record
§ Technology background combined with business experience is a plus
§ Business planning development experience
§ Strong experience and brand development and marketing execution: Full understanding of how to build a digital strategy and integrate within a wider media/communications strategy
§ Strong strategic thinking, with proven experience of developing and implementing strategies
§ Leadership skills and the ability to continuously guide and develop a business
§ Excellent team, people management, coaching and people development skills
§ Strong background with project management concepts, methodologies and tools
§ Strongly collaborative working style with ability to influence, negotiate and challenge
§ A customer centric people person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
