Our Client is a technology-driven BPO, a global leader in total outsourcing and holistic omnichannel eCommerce solutions, supporting clients in their international expansion needs (B2B), currently doing business in almost 20 countries.
The company has a long and successful history of 30 years with many subsidiaries and investments in diverse jurisdictions.
They are looking for an experienced finance executive to join their team in Kazakhstan as the Regional Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively leading and managing the accounting and financial procedures in the countries that will oversee.
This is a critical role for our Client that is entering a new exciting phase of growth and expansion. Working directly with the Group Finance team in HQ, will be reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the Executive team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between the Group Finance team and other corporate functions with the countries in the region.
- Working closely with the Chief Accountants in each country to support and guide them, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and compliance with local tax and statutory requirements are in order.
- Responsible for liaising and coordinating the ideas and changes of the Group Finance team in the countries.
- Leading the financial transformation of the group in the countries, coordinating all the efforts and changes that are required to take place during the process.
- Working closely with the Group Financial Controller for ensuring all accounting procedures are in place, especially when introducing changes and streamlining between the countries
- Working closely with the Head of FP&A to streamline reporting and budgeting in the countries and the group.
- Ensure streamlined accounting principles and chart of accounts working with IFRS and local accounting principles.
- Responsible for the timely completion of the monthly management accounts by the countries.
- Assist in streamlining internal financial and accounting policies, changing or drafting new SOP where appropriate.
- Actively engage in the group’s tax planning process and ongoing review.
- Support the Group forecasting and budgeting process
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- ACCA or ICAEW qualifications.
- Big 4 experience would be considered an advantage.
- Strong use of the English language.
- Preferably with experience in eCommerce or retail.
- Proficiency in IFRS.
- Experience in working with multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency accounts.
- Strong IT and analytical skills, and knowledge of working with different ERP systems, excel, and databases.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
