Description
1 Meet Sales Targets
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for Target industries and Market Segments.
- Prepare and adhere to the Sales Budget for the year, quarterly forecast of sales, and monthly sales commitment to ensure yearly sales targets are achieved.
- Follow-up of all leads through various stages to ensure planned movement.
- Implementing structured sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
2 Team Management
- Monitor, guide, coach and Mentor team to enable them to meet their Targets
- Motivates team and ensures fairness in treatment to every team member
- Ensure team is well-trained in each area in line with the set process
- Ensure appropriate leave planning/approvals of team members such that there is minimal impact on team deliverables
- Performance appraisals/coaching, regular briefings, disciplinary actions as required
- Coordinate with HR for all employee-related aspects and keep a check on attrition levels within the team
3 Retain and Manage Existing Customers
- Maintaining long-lasting customer relationships.
- Undertaking customer engagement initiatives
4 Service
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution as per the customer service process
- Ensure an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
- Work with all the Business Partners and/or internal colleagues as required, to resolve problems, facilitate solutions and enhance customer service offerings
5 OEM
- Develop and maintain relationship with key OEMs for for all Mosil Products
- Develop plans for improving business for the aftermarket sales for OEMs
- Development and retention of new OEMs
- Effective complaint management to ensure sustainable relationships with all OEMs
- Identify key OEMs for MOSIL Products and ensure approval of MOSIL Brands with key OEMs.
6 Identify Product Development / Improvement Needs
- Monitor and Analyze market trends for target business lines.
- Have complete awareness and knowledge of competitors' products and services
Personal Specifications:
Education/Qualification/Training: Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Chemical. (A degree in Marketing Management is desirable)
Experience: Overall 12 - 15 Years & above in related industry. (Preferred but not Mandatory)
Skills: Planning & Organizing, Administration & Management, Leadership, Communication & Interpersonal skills, Result Orientation, Flexibility
Knowledge: Knowledge of principles & methods of sales and marketing
Specific Work Requirements ( if any) : Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts, Ability to respond well to pressure, Thinking creatively, Influencing Skills, Integrity, Willingness to travel
Key Performance Indicators
1 Top Line
Achievement of Sales Targets (Value-Wise) in the segment assigned.
2 OEM Approval
Securing of OEM Approval as per plan and strategy to exploit OEM Approval to generate business.
3 Bottom Line
Achievement of minimum effective discount to generate the Sales
4 People Development
Training Imparted to other sales team members of MOSIL as well as Business Partners
5 Business Development
New initiatives such as the development of a new application, business partner, new business segment, etc.
