Candidates with 18+ years of experience handling- Frieght forwarding & Contract logistics
- Must have experience in managing and Leading Freight forwarding and Contract Logistics Business.
- Directly responsible to drive and achieve the goals of products consisting of Air, Ocean, LCL Consolidation, Warehousing & distribution.
- Business Planning & Management Strategic Product & Business Development /Finance & Operations/ P&L Management / Freight Management with an organization of repute.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
- • Heading the Freight forwarding and Contract Logistics Vertical for Southern region and responsible for Profit & Loss of the same.
• Functions reporting – Business Development, Operations, Customs & Compliance, Procurement, HR & Admin, Finance, IT, Quality & Safety, Customer Service.
• Dealing with respective Zone Authorities for Certifications & Licenses required to start operations.
• New Project Implementation.
• Budgeting & Costing.
• Responsible for Preparation of Business Plan, Product development, Budgeting & Delivering.
• Responsible of HR & administration of all offices across South of India, which includes staff motivation, recruitment, replacement as per the allocated budgets for Full time and contract staffs.
• Responsible to ensure there is cash flow , credit exposures and AR is under control and meet the KPI’s
• Promote local sales with new acquisitions, cross selling and maintaining existing customer.
• Support with new services such as consolidation, new product development so as to assist selling.
• Describing roles and responsibilities of staffs, KPI’s and measurement through performance evaluation.
• Contract logistics solution designing and effective implementation of global strategy in region.
• Understanding customer pain area, detailed data analysis and proposed implementable storage, resource & infrastructure solution
➢ Customer Centric:-
• Be a lead Manager in the customer interface supporting the Operations Manager
• To share reports for various accounts and monitor the performance closely
• To report on performance of various business and provide relevant management information.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Make plans to develop staffs of warehouse by internal/on-job training.
• Implement cost reduction initiative.
