THE ROLE: REGIONAL AFTERSALES MANAGER
The role of the Regional Aftersales Manager is crucial in executing the aftersales strategy. The manager focuses on collaborating cross-functionally with the broader international aftersales team. By enhancing and refining the strategy, the aim is to achieve the desired goals and drive success.
To effectively manage the brand's credibility in the market, this role must be filled by someone with a comprehensive background in all aspects of the aftersales business within the automotive industry. This includes an in-depth understanding of the supply chain, customer needs, industry trends, and the ability to navigate the complexities of the market.
The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of new technologies and a keen interest in the latest advancements in the automotive field. Hands-on experience would be an advantage, as it provides practical insights into the unique challenges and opportunities of new technologies.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, as they will be expected to interact with various stakeholders.
This role will be crucial in successfully implementing country and region-specific aftersales strategies to support customers and stakeholders.
THE TASK:
- Setup, manage and monitor regional partner workshops and stakeholders
- Implement strategic initiatives to ensure maximum vehicle uptime and customer satisfaction
- Implement and control all technical training needs in the region
- Aftersales interface to all customers
- Provide support for all events, promotions, vehicle marketing and test drives if necessary
- Safeguard regional parts availability to minimise vehicle downtime
- Track the financial targets achieved by the region. This includes monitoring and analysis of the progress made towards the set targets
- Align and communicate on benchmark KPIs with Regional Sales and Marketing Managers
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Automotive experience at a very senior level is non-negotiable
- A comprehensive understanding of the current trends and best practices in aftersales
- Strong aftersales background and a proven track record with an OEM or retailer
- Technical expertise in understanding vehicle failures and breakdowns
- A strong understanding of the broader automotive business
- Articulate with solid communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, possessing solid relationship-building skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Arabic would be an advantage
- Degree aligned with this position
