Responsible for Material Management of Automotive plants

1. Responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors.
2. To perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
3. Monitor and coordinate with team members at plants to ensure correct levels of inventory and manage the material planning activity
4. Lead the routine management & activities of Purchasing function and ensuring achievement of department goals / objectives
5. Review and ensure sourcing of materials & consumable from reliable suppliers and vendors
6. Evaluate and ensure the appropriate contracts for various purchases of materials / Services
