Develops and implements a regional purchasing strategy in terms of goods and services. Proves an efficient risk management and makes continuous improvement proposals in order to support the client's business objectives within a lowest possible total cost.Responsibilities:
- Development of the regional sourcing strategy regarding regional purchases, achieving organizational profitability
- Drafts and reviews contracts, agreements, terms and conditions, leads negotiation of procurement and monitors the approval process.
- Consolidates, controls and analyses the annual purchasing budget .
- Develops and maintains updated purchasing and suppliers risk mapping and conducts continuously risks assessment.
- Develops and monitors contingency plans.
- Monitors regional supplier performance management process.
- Contributes actively in regional supplier performance improvement within a sound relationship with suppliers and oversees, if needed, regional suppliers’ audits
- Prepares, communicates and reviews regional purchasing KPIs and defines accordingly continuous improvement plans.
- Leads and develops others both within direct responsibility and within the wider organization.
Requirements
Studies:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management or related fields
Engineering degree (industrial)
Experience: 5-10 years in similar position in industrial environment (automotive sector is desired)
Functional and technical competencies: Purchasing strategies, purchasing processes and procedures, Negotiation skills, Sourcing techniques, Suppliers relationship management, National and international import/export legislation, Legal norms (contracts), Basic accounting and finance, Continuous improvement techniques, Quality & EHS standards, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Organizational skills, Budgeting & Cost estimating, Project Management, Risk Management.
MS Office Software (Excel, Word, PPT), ERP applications.
English is a must
