The Incumbent will be managing a team of sales professional.
Skills & Experience
- Managing the local Sales Teams. Designing and implementing plans and strategies to meet local sales targets while developing and cultivating relationships with clients.
- Target customers - Iron & steel Industry
- Develop customers directly with at-site visits and presentations of product portfolio
- Ensure the company HSE standards and requirements are achieved/maintained.
- Develop and implement local strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Control and manage local sales partners like Agents and Consultants
- Maintain Corporate Governance and Compliance
- Provide the necessary management reports/sales overview
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the steel or refractory industry
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Understand local market and industry-specific trends and landscapes.
- Effectively communicate value propositions and strategic plans through presentations and proposals.
- Report on sales achievements and corrective actions when appropriate.
- Identify and improve selling prices and pro-actively pursue and propose improvement opportunities.
- Lead and motivate individuals to maximize performance by reviewing performance and setting stretched targets. Propose and manage people changes if required.
- Extensive knowledge of the regional market, AR and FC products, and steelmaking industry
- Good understanding of business acumen (gross profit, gross margin, LPC, etc.)
- Computer application skills (MS-Office)
- Strong negotiating and sales skills
- Ability to self-motivate and equally as effective whether lone working or as a team member.
