Job Description- Regional Sales Manager
The Ideal candidate should have at least 8 -10 yrs of experience in FMCG or OTC, currently working with an excellent Track Record and aspiring to grow. He will be responsible for Achieving Sales & Profit Targets across the Region through the Execution of defined Strategies / Campaigns Building Customer / Client Relations for Business Maximization Executing Action Plans for Improving Business Productivity Preparing Annual & Monthly Sales Plans for Existing and New Products Channel Management.
Requirements & Skills
- They have proven work experience as a Regional sales manager in the FMCG or OTC category.
- Experience managing a high-performance sales team
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Apt customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Open to travel as per requirement
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client's needs
- Train & Coach the sales team
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Qualifications
- Minimum experience of 8-10 years in the FMCG & OTC sector
- Should have handled a zone for at least 3 years preferably 2 zones
- A full-time MBA is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
