Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Oversee the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the entire region, ensuring financial objectives are met and exceeded.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers and sales representatives across multiple states to drive performance and sales effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
- Ensure smooth and efficient sales operations, including inventory management, distribution, and dealer relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Provide regular and detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and financial status to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations within the region.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in B2C sales, with a strong preference for experience in the two-wheeler motorcycle industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing sales teams and P&L across a large geographic region.
- Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with business goals.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading a team.
- Proficient in analyzing sales data, market trends, and financial reports to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region to manage and support sales operations.
