Job Description
The team and the project:
The team is responsible for gathering and processing market data from external vendors. The market data is used for the pricing of financial instruments. The clients can trade those products on our client's internal platform. The project involves low latency systems that process real-time data. There are also pricing components that can compute a fair value of sophisticated financial products. Finally, there are risk applications that control the exposure of the company.
The role:
Due to the importance of the company's profits, the system is validated with automated tests. There is an existing infrastructure for backend tests built with Python, Docker, and C# FlaUI frontend tests which are expanded on a daily basis. A successful candidate will be expected to expand test coverage by writing additional automated tests and improve the testing framework as needed. In the future, the automation process will include RestApi testing and non-functional tests. The position might involve occasional 3rd line support.
Essential requirements:
- English (at least B2)
- Python
- Git
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Testing knowledge
