Job Summary
The RM Commercial Banking is responsible for managing and growing relationships with mid-sized to large corporate clients. This role involves understanding clients' business needs, offering financial solutions, and driving revenue growth by cross-selling banking products and services. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of commercial banking products, strong financial acumen, and a proactive approach to client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients, focusing on understanding their business objectives, financial needs, and challenges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering tailored financial solutions to support their growth and operational needs.
- Portfolio & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the client portfolio and increase revenue through cross-selling commercial banking products, including loans, cash management, trade finance, treasury solutions, and FX products.
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and identify opportunities for business growth within existing accounts.
- Credit Analysis & Risk Management:
- Work closely with credit analysts to evaluate client creditworthiness, prepare credit proposals, and recommend appropriate credit limits.
- Monitor client performance, market conditions, and sector-specific risks to ensure early identification and mitigation of potential risks within the portfolio.
- Product Knowledge & Solution Selling:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the bank's commercial banking products and services, as well as industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Proactively recommend and deliver solutions that align with clients' short-term and long-term financial needs, including working capital, expansion financing, trade finance, and treasury solutions.
- Market Research & Prospecting:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including credit risk, treasury, and product teams, to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with the compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Client Service Excellence:
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular follow-ups, addressing client inquiries promptly, and providing solutions to resolve client issues.
- Act as an advocate for clients within the bank, ensuring their needs are effectively communicated and met by the internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Min of 5 to 8 years of experience in relationship management, commercial banking, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with credit analysis and corporate banking solutions
- Proven track record of managing corporate clients and achieving sales targets
