Job Description
Accountable for the full life cycle of the products for which she/he is responsible; from the creation of the product, through the sampling process, chasing of shipment on time in the approved quality, the monitoring of sales and taking appropriate action to deliver the optimal commercial result until the product has sold out
- Development of the complete, rationally structured, commercially sound, seasonal collection, using sales data to support;
- Direct participation in defining of the collection structure for each month of the season, including development of the colour palette, sub category mix and style structure;
- Responsible for knowing the customer and the value fashion marketplace. Continuous benchmarking of key competitors to ensure that we offer the best value in the market;
- Meeting all deadlines of Critical Path;
- Signing off of all orders split to supplier, meeting all commercial parameters;
- Interactions with suppliers:
- Purchase of the samples and sketches for order placement;
- Placing the orders to suppliers, providing detailed information on the order with indication of the article, composition, colour and quantity of the product;
- Provide full set of documents for assortment groups for each supplier in accordance with the placed order: 1. Bill of materials (list of used auxiliary materials, their position on the garment and the package). 2. Sizes specification for each style;
- Signing off all technical packs together with designer/print designer
- Provide all information needed by suppliers, in line with the Critical Path, with necessary sketches of decorative details: prints, embroidery, etc.; coordinating and providing all information regarding product accessories needed, e.g. zips, buttons, draw cords etc
- Full development of the styles the whole way through till mass production stage, and that styles are meeting technical requirements, comply with designers’ sketches and match the collection;
- Control over production process, quality and correctness of the sizes of delivered product;
- Information support of logistics processes;
- Managing Garments Designers:
- Setting the tasks for designers;
- Provide complete information on requirements and possibilities;
- Coordination of the creative work of the designers to ensure full compliance of the sketches with production capability and commercial requirements of the Company;
- All the above to be in line with Critical Path;
- Managing Print Designers (where necessary):
- Setting the tasks for print designs in accordance with production plan;
- Setting the tasks for design drawings;
- All the above to be in line with Critical Path;
- Manage tasks for Assistants
- Sourcing of new suppliers, more profitable from commercial perspective, for existing and new products;
- Interactions with all suppliers. Timely delivering to production units information about new rules, future seasonal collection, as well as timely setting of the tasks and subsequent control over their implementation;
- Processing of analytical data. Regular monitoring of analytical data on commercial success of the particular styles, shapes, lines, colour combinations, etc. for subsequent improvements of collections’ structure;
