Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscape assessment.

• Identify and evaluate promising startups or companies aligned with our investment criteria through proactive deal sourcing efforts.

• Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies to assist in defining investment strategies.

• Develop comprehensive financial models, including revenue projections and sensitivity analysis, to assess investment potential and risks.

• Prepare detailed investment memos summarizing key findings, investment thesis, and recommendations for the investment committee.

• Collaborate with the investment team to provide insights and support during investment decision-making processes.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of portfolio companies, track key performance indicators, and provide ongoing support as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a leading school with an engineering degree and an MBA from a prestigious institution like IIT or IIM.

• Previous experience of 2+ years as a Research Analyst in roles associated with management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or similar fields, focusing on research and analysis.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

• Deep understanding of technology trends, market dynamics, and emerging industries.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and a drive for excellence.
