For a 5* luxury hotel in Umbria (near Perugia), we are looking for a

RESERVATIONS MANAGER

Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with Sales & Marketing Department, he/she will be responsible for all the reservations strategies, procedures and operations.

Main Duties: 

• Identifies new reservations sales business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
• Closes the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.
• Monitors same day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control property occupancy.
• Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
• Supports customer loyalty and property’s brand standards by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
• Monitors reservations sales agents while on phone calls.
• Utilizes all available on the job training tools for employees.
• Coaches and trains team’s member to maximize their performances.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience as Reservations Manager or Assistant Reservations Manager in 5* luxury hotels
• Team leader
• Strong analytical and numeric skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Strong sense of need for achievement of goals and success
• English and Italian fluent
