IndustryFacilities Manager
This role is based in Madrid and reports to the EMEA Head of Operations but will work closely with the Central Architecture Team.
What the role is about:
Maintenance
• Respond to all reports of facility issues within stores and recommend strategy and solutions.
• Identify preferred local contractors for ongoing maintenance issues.
• Regular and consistent follow-up with vendors and agencies responsible for project execution.
• Identify and utilise technology to ensure maintenance and works are managed in a timely and appropriate way.
• Sensitivity to business needs of the stores, ie. scheduling maintenance repairs during the appropriate hours.
• Prepare and manage store maintenance and contractor service budgets.
Planning
• Plan daily and annual workflows for all maintenance activities
• Set priorities and ongoing goals for upcoming projects, both in terms of budget and timeline
• Identify the necessary resources and equipment to meet objectives and submit requests for them.
Store Openings & Refurbishments
• Support and coordinate with the central Architecture team on all new store opening and refurbishment projects.
• Work with company management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the project is completed on schedule, in budget and with the highest standards.
• Manage and coordinate special store projects.
• Influence and uphold regular and clear collaborative communication with external partners, key internal stakeholders and internal departments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and adherence to project timelines.
Safety and Compliance Openings & Refurbishments
• Ensure all facilities compply with local safaty and health regulation at differents countries.Provide support to implement and maintain security systems to protect employees and customers.
What is important for the role:
• Strong understanding of luxury brand standards and customer experience principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with facility management software and technology solutions
• Effective time management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Ability to manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and solve problems effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving.
• Excellent ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.
• Certifications in facilities management is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English. Spanish and French are a great plus.
