My global client requires an experienced Retail Vendor Manager to join their team for a minimum period of 12 months.

This client is creating a portfolio of private brands in consumer goods across a wide range of categories and quality tiers. As a Vendor Manager, you will drive Private Brand sourcing & scaling initiatives within private label product categories for the business, covering both physical stores and online.

The Vendor Manager will engage directly with multiple internal teams to ensure they have the right selection and vendor proposition for PB's long-term success. You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as category management, pricing, inventory management, supply chain, marketing, and finance to drive the performance of selection and strategic vendor partners. You will support wider Private Brands initiatives around selection expansion, vendor negotiations and engagement, etc.

Key job responsibilities:

* Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines
* Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
* Support the wider PBI Vendor Management team in operational tasks, working towards improving processes and delivering results.
* Reporting on and understanding vendor performance, including forecasting, service level performance, and profitability.
* Responsibility for strategic supply chain projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

- 1 years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in retail (either physical stores or online) or within FMCG.
