Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR Business Partner (Manager level). In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to our retail operations, managing the full employee lifecycle- from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and retention. You will support store expansion through manpower planning, ensure smooth HR processes, drive employee engagement initiatives, resolve grievances and provide insights on workforce trends. You will work closely with store and regional managers to optimize talent, enhance productivity and foster a positive workplace culture across all stores.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage manpower planning and drive end-to-end recruitment for store roles, ensuring timely closures in coordination with regional HRBPs.
● Oversee onboarding, induction and all joining formalities for new hires.
● Maintain employee records, contracts, and HRIS updates and manage confirmations, transfers, promotions and exit formalities.
● Ensure timely closure of payroll inputs, attendance and shift scheduling.
● Implement engagement programs for retail staff, act as the first point of contact for grievances and conduct regular store visits and HR connect sessions.
● Support the performance management cycle, facilitate discussions on performance outcomes and track productivity metrics to drive improvement.
● Partner closely with Retail Operations and Store Managers, providing insights on attrition, hiring trends and employee feedback.
● Support manpower optimization and cost control initiatives across stores.
Experience:
● Minimum 6 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, with significant exposure to Talent Acquisition.
● Proven experience in employee engagement, grievance handling and performance management.
● Prior experience in retail or a high-growth, fast-paced environment is preferred.
Skills:
● Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills and effective communication.
● Solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
● Proficient in HRIS systems and basic data analytics
