For an Italian luxury hotel group, we are looking for a

                                                                         Revenue & Distribution Analyst

Reporting directly to the Corporate Revenue and Distribution Manager, the Revenue & Distribution Analyst (RDA) will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting
• Ensuring effective information gathering and analysis is conducted to identify and maximize on all possible opportunities and minimize any risks
• Regularly checking the input and the quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc.)
• Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Performing competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends
• Ensuring rate shopping data is consistent, appropriate and effectively analyzed
• Ensuring occupancy and inventory are optimized within hotels
• Applying daily rate and inventory updates
• Providing critical analysis of strategies, room statistics and demand factors
• Executing revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotels and day to day yield operations
• Elaborating daily KPI analyses via Excel, BI Tools, other analytic software
• Periodic Rate loading within PMS, CRS, GDS
• Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
• Ensuring web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional
• Evaluating performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, groups, etc.)
• Supporting the annual revenue budget process

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a revenue management and/or analytical role in an international hotel group or a luxury hotel. Will be considered a plus a previous experience in hotel operations (Front Office, Reservations, other)
• Extensive Knowledge of the following systems:
  • OnQ PMS, Opera PMS, Protel PMS, CRS/CRO Software
• Excellent skills in Excel and high-level presentation skills via PowerPoint or other tools
• Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken)
• Will be considered a plus:

• Expertise of OTA’S (functionality, extranet, other)
• Knowledge of Rate Shopping Software and RMS
