Revit Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Revit Specialist with deep expertise in Autodesk Revit to lead the development and implementation of BIM standards across our client’s teams. This role focuses on training, mentoring, and supporting project staff in the effective use of Revit, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the organization. You will serve as the key point of contact for BIM workflows, guiding teams toward best practices while helping the business maximize the value of digital design processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Revit and BIM standards across the company.
• Provide training, mentoring, and day-to-day support for team members to build their Revit proficiency.
• Organize workshops, onboarding sessions, and learning resources to improve BIM knowledge and adoption.
• Act as a first line of support for troubleshooting Revit issues and improving user workflows.
• Manage and maintain company-wide Revit template files, families, and content libraries.
• Monitor model health and compliance with BIM standards, offering feedback and corrective actions.
• Stay updated on the latest Revit features and BIM industry trends, recommending improvements to tools and processes.
• Support BIM leadership in strategic planning for digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Installation, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, BIM Specialist, or BIM Manager with a focus on Revit training and standards.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP is an advantage).
• Strong communication and teaching skills with the ability to mentor and support diverse teams.
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 (or other cloud collaboration platforms) is an advantage.

Ideal Skills

• Experience developing and delivering structured Revit training programs.
• Ability to create user-friendly Revit guides, manuals, and learning materials.
• Understanding of Dynamo or other automation tools to streamline workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple team support requests.
