Description
For our Client a mobile telco in Switzerland -Zurich- we are looking for a RF drive test technician enjoying being on the move, driving and curious about what is the real customers perception of the mobile network performance.

Your duties
•    Preparing and setting up equipment for field measurements, test plan, sequences, use cases, measurements planning, execution, monitoring and troubleshooting any technical issue experienced in the field
•    Perform data collection by drive-testing and walk-testing measurements using specialized data collection/logging systems (e.g. TEMS Infovista solution), navigation tools and mapping/GIS software (e.g. MapInfo, QGIs, Google Earth)
•    Measuring voice and data services, RF scanning, post-processing of the data, preparation of the KPIs/KQIs, dashboards and light analysis of the results
•    Monitor KQIs under test, making sure measurements are running without errors and troubleshooting when needed
•    Drive test routes planning and management
•    Test, identify and troubleshoot mobile network and data collection equipment issue to ensure quality of assurance, data measurements integrity
•    Collaborate with tools owners, vendors, radio engineers in troubleshooting equipment and network faults and their resolution
•    Report on identified network faults like poor RF, quality, coverage, service failure etc
•    Ensure proper data transfer to central location and data integrity
•    Being in the car driving most of the time
•    Maintain daily log to accurately record driving hours/project status
•    Complete car safety and equipment checklist before and after drives
•    Manage company assets like DT tools, servers, phones, devices, scanner, auxiliaries, USB hubs, power supplies, SIMs, Laptops, GPS, etc
•    Manage device firmware, flashing phones, tokens, modem binaries, TEMS lifecycle

What you bring
•    High school degree. Degree in telecommunications is a plus but not required
•    Driving license with 5+ years driving experience and clean driving record
•    Enjoy and are comfortable driving for long periods of time
•    Previous drive testing experience is preferred
•    Experience in setting up and operating drive testing tools and systems, TEMS Infovista solutions
•    Experience with Mapping/GIS software (MapInfo, Google Earth, QGIS etc)
•    You understand databases. The geek inside yourself wants to automate as much as possible. You are not afraid of coding and learning
•    Strong IT/computer knowledge and problem-solving skills
•    Strong troubleshooting skills of drive testing kit issue will be a plus
•    Basic knowledge of Antenna theory, UMTS, LTE and 5G technologies

•    Responsible, reliable, motivated, organized, proactive, flexible, self-driven and learning oriented
•    Good analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
•    Easily approachable, friendly, & proactive in identifying areas for improvement
•    Required languages: English. German and French is a plus
