Key Accountabilities
- Design and oversee implementation of a global risk management framework (covering compliance, operational, economic/financial, security/fraud and reputational) for the organization. Oversee the implementation of company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations in a manner consistent with best practices for the entire organization, to ensure adherence to regulatory framework
- Oversee the preparation & implementation of compliance policies, SOPs and administration of best-in class training in collaboration with the legal, finance team across business verticals. Conduct periodic reviews of SOP protocol to ensure alignment with regulatory & compliance requirements. Drive and promote a culture of ethics and compliance to prevent impact of business risks
- Establish systems to track adherence to compliance across business verticals. Lead the resolution of control issues and unmitigated global risks (operational, market and financial) in collaboration with legal, finance, IT, global ethics, compliance, risk oversight committee to obtain optimal results. Guide the team to conduct regular reviews across business verticals and track data on compliance and other governance parameters
- Develop an audit and monitoring plan and oversee internal, external risk, compliance audits to ensure adherence to approved policies and SOPs and present reports to audit committee
- Engage and maintain business relationships with external auditors and other third parties (serious fraud office, securities exchange commission) to manage risk and control initiatives across the organization more efficiently
- Review reports, communications to senior management including the CFO, financial controller, audit and risk committee, heads of functional areas on the results of compliance initiatives and testing. Remain updated on any new compliance rules, regulatory requirements and implement policies, or other controls necessary to comply with the rules Key Interactions
Minimum Academic Qualifications: • Qualified CA / CA intermediate or CWA Finance / MBA in Finance (preferably from a premier institute) Minimum Work Experience: • 15-23 years of industry experience preferably in a pharma / manufacturing / FMCG organization
Must have
• Have they audited Listed company with specific responsibility of managing audit committee.
• Are they reporting to CFOs and are already functional heads in their current role
