Job Description
For a 5 stars luxury hotel in Milano we are looking for a
Sales Account Director
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this professional profile is responsible for the development of sales, achieving set monthly targets within the guidelines and goals set by the Department Head.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Increase client base in all segments through consistent solicitations while establishing trust and rapport with clients to generate and boost revenues for the hotel.
- Handle set of accounts, segments and territory as outlined by the DOSM.
- Develop new business from various leads, i.e. walk-ins, telephone inquiries, email, referrals according to coverage areas.
- Achieve monthly targets as set by DOSM based on Monthly production report of live accounts and other specific targets as laid out by DOSM in line with hotel's overall budget.
- Execute sales trips, under the direct approval of DOSM to areas with potential for the Hotel - plan and execute cost-effective and productive sales trips into assigned territory to improve and increase our penetration of that market.
Job Requirements:
- We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of Sales, have creativity and flair, and are able to evidence good business acumen, a strong work ethic and people-management skills.
- Three Years Management experience in Sales preferably in a luxury 5star Hotel or Hotel Group.
- A college degree preferably specializing in hotel management or business administration, or equivalent experience is required.
