Job Description
For an innovative and fast-growing company in the lighting industry, we are looking for a
Sales Analyst
He/she is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data to contribute to the development of sales plans and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends.
- Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity.
- Create and utilize structured customer insight processes to help identify unmet customer needs and new product/market opportunities in existing and new segments.
- Gather and analyze data to identify problems and address them proactively.
- Contributing to the identification of the best solutions through a structured problem-solving approach.
- Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources.
- Evaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company success.
- Monitoring and evaluating sales performance.
- Sharing actionable insights to the sales and marketing teams.
- Determining sales potential and making recommendations.
- Communicate and collaborate with the management and team members regularly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Marketing or similar.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within big accounting firms or multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel, and Google Workspace
- Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Italian and English fluent, both oral and written
- High level of organization and detail-orientation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize
- Excellent time management
