A multinational company in the FMCG sector with headquarters in Northern Italy has a subsidiary in Romania that was established in early 2018. The subsidiary, which is based in Bucharest, has helped the company establish a strong market presence in Romania with popular brands. The parent company has a diverse portfolio of over 50 well-known brands in areas such as Food, Household and Laundry Care, Adhesives, Personal Care, Well-being and Beauty Care.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Directly reporting to Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll oversee processes aimed at supporting Food, Personal Care and Home Care businesses. You’ll be part of a very dynamic team, have visibility on all the company’s activities, collaborate with Distributors of all categories and ensure effective communication with different internal departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, Financial).
Responsibilities
- Working in closed cooperation, on daily basis, with Sales Teams of our Partners
- Develop Retail specific strategies in cooperation with distributors
- Propose and monitor implementation of Trade Customers Plans – assortment by client, pricing, promo volumes, white spots/ opportunities, in store activations / consumers’ marketing programs
- Monitor and analyze sales performance by retailer, category, segment
- Pricing strategy, monitoring & analysis, managing price structures
- Manage trade specific budgets
- Coordinate Categoryimplementation.lecting planograms and check compliances, proposal of corrective actions, monitor the implementation
- Post campaigns reporting - follow up with partners, evaluating KPIs on campaigns execution effectiveness
- Support in Budget execution, including partners specific budget forecasting, help to create and track invoices and flagging any budget risks
- Managing forecasts, logistics, orders, POSMs
- Store checks on weekly basis in Bucharest and every 2 months on national level
Requirements:
- Senior level, 3 - 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Empathy, ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting critical deadlines
- Organizational skills, structured, self-disciplined, solution-oriented approach
- Smart person, able to learn fast
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced level of English
- Advanced with Microsoft Office - Excel and PowerPoint
