Sales Development Manager – Germany (m/f/d)
Home Office with exceptional growth potentialYour Responsibilities:
You are based in Germany and independently plan and manage your sales activities from a home-office setup. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating interest and demand initially for 2 brands among high-potential multi-unit operators across Germany.
- Validating, updating, and prioritising target operator lists, as well as supporting market entry assumptions and plans.
- Actively facilitating product sampling and trials with prospective customers.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for potential new customers and leveraging the vast internal support network to successfully onboard new accounts.
- Managing and developing the German new customer pipeline, including opportunity tracking and conversion management.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date call records and customer account profiles within CRM systems.
- Monitoring market and competitor activity and documenting insights
- Identifying and recommending suitable industry partners, including distributors, to build a sustainable and scalable market network.
- Participating in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits as required.
- Supporting future growth initiatives, with the opportunity to build and lead a local team as the business expands.
Your Profile:
- You have a strong passion for foodservice, hospitality, and innovative food or beverage solutions.
- You enjoy working independently and take full ownership of developing and managing your sales territory.
- You bring a customer-focused, commercially driven mindset and a hands-on sales approach.
- You are a team-oriented professional who actively contributes ideas and collaborates effectively across functions.
- You are flexible, well-organised, and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- You are comfortable with extensive travel and enjoy engaging directly with customers.
- Ideally, you already have a strong network within the HoReCa, convenience, or multi-unit foodservice sector in Germany.
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the HoReCa or foodservice industry, including at least 2 years managing a key account(s).
- Proven experience in sales or marketing of food products or foodservice equipment within a B2B environment.
- Solid understanding of the milkshake and frozen or slushy-style beverage market is advantageous.
- A university degree is preferred; a background in food science is an advantage.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken; French language skills are a plus.
- Experience working with CRM systems and confidence using standard PC and mobile applications.
- Distributor management experience and familiarity with international foodservice or import networks into Germany are advantageous.
