Hiring for a Sales Director for a global specialist Platform Engineering Solutions, IT Services and Consulting services client.

They have been growing at a fast pace in the recent past, across North America, Europe, ANZ, and the APAC regions making strategic acquisitions along the way. To build upon the recent growth and expansion, they are investing in additional leadership and sales capacity across their multiple areas of strengths including domain-driven Enterprise Technology Solutions for their clients.
Role details:

Role & responsibilities:
- Work in the assigned territory/vertical or solution area to develop business in line with the company’s APAC GTM strategy.
- Responsible for putting together winning proposals to meet client requirements working closely with presales, delivery, and competency teams.
- Build healthy relationships with clients and delivery teams to grow the service lines.
- Accurate forecasting and reporting to management using sales tools like CRM and forecasting tools.
- Developing and diligently maintaining Account and Opportunity plans
- Ensuring invoicing and collections are on time.
- Managing all prospects and opportunities within the company’s CRM system
- Working closely with Marketing & Inside sales on lead generation programs & activities
- Ensuring skills and knowledge is kept up to date.
- Travel on business, from time to time.
Candidate requirements:
- 10+ years of experience including the recent 5 years in technology sales, in a consultative and solutioning mode, with focus on BFSI and Manufacturing verticals.
- New business development experience as an individual contributor (hunter).
- Well connected with CXO community of large enterprises.
- Experience in selling large Managed Services, Cloud and Data transformation deals, experience around Microsoft technologies, Azure Cloud (or AWS/ GCP), IaaS, PaaS, Digital Transformation, Dynamics, or Data.
- Mature client engagement and management skills - ability to build client relationships; strengthening partnerships by focusing on exceptional client experience, risk management and value realization built on the foundation of company’s values and capabilities.
