Sales Director
Company overview: Our client is a trading and distribution company specializing in electrical cables for internal and international energy markets in the B2B sector.
Purpose of the role: Sales Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the company's sales strategy in line with the overall objectives.
The main objective of the position is to achieve sustainable growth in sales volume, turnover, and profit margin through the effective management of the sales team, customer relations, and commercial policies applicable to the markets served.
Sales Director ensures that sales activities are constantly aligned with the company's overall strategy and actively contributes to strengthening the company's position in existing markets and developing new markets.
Objectives:
- Increase the company's sales volume and revenue.
- Improve the sales margin, focusing on profitable products.
- Develop and retain the customer portfolio.
- Ensure an efficient and performance-oriented sales structure.
- Position the company correctly in the market and continuously adapt to its dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements the sales strategy in line with the company's objectives.
- Sets sales targets by market segment, product, and customer.
- Coordinates and monitors the activities of the sales team and commercial support services.
- Develops and maintains commercial relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Actively participates in the negotiation and conclusion of important commercial contracts.
- Monitors the achievement of performance indicators: sales volume, margin, discounts, payment terms.
- Ensures the completion of sales forecasts and periodic commercial reports.
- Collaborate with other departments (production, supply chain, finance) to ensure the smooth processing of orders.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and propose measures to optimize commercial processes.
- Represent the company in its relations with customers, partners, trade fairs, and industry events.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years in a management position in sales/commerce.
- Bachelor’s degree – economics, management, or technical field.
- PC skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage.
- Commercial, financial, and legal knowledge.
- Negotiation and sales skills.
- Organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- English – advanced level.
