Sales Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers. The role involves understanding customers' technical requirements, demonstrating product capabilities, and proposing solutions to meet customer needs. The role requires traveling around 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, products, and applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and new technologies.
• Respond to technical inquiries from customers and address any concerns or objections.
• Analyze customers' technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

2. Customer Engagement:

• Develop the professional network (wholesalers, installers, retailers), manage the partnerships and enhance and strengthen sales partnerships.
• Understand customer needs and requirements to provide tailored HVAC solutions.
• Conduct on-site visits, assess customer facilities, and recommend appropriate products.
• Provide quotations for the RLC equipment.
• Customer visits: communicating programs, updating pricing and products, marketing activities, commercial policy, credit limits, stock, and warranty.

3. Sales Support:

• Attract new sales partners, and monitor the competition, preparing market research & presentations.
• Provide commercial and technical training to customers.
• Contribute to sales strategy development by providing insights into technical challenges and opportunities.
• Stay updated on market and industry trends, product developments, and competitive offerings.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the technical field
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC products and applications
• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC product sales through channels such as dealers, distributors, retailers, online stores
• Aptitude to travel within Romania and abroad (~50% of the time)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Romanian and English
