We are seeking a Sales Engineer in the Parma area.
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the presales and post-sales of hardware solutions for printing and control processes at airports. Your focus will be on printers for boarding passes, baggage tags for both check-in desks and self-service machines.
Reporting Structure:
The Sales Engineer will report to the Global Aviation Senior Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass the following:
Cultivating an in-depth understanding of our product components, functionalities, and processes.
Assisting in closing sales, particularly when technical expertise is required to align our solutions with clients' needs.
Preparing and delivering technical demonstrations to our business clients, including live trials of our printers.
Continuously monitoring customer satisfaction during live trials and post-deployment phases.
Collaborating with customers and our engineering team to assess their technical requirements.
Identifying system and equipment needs for our clients.
Organizing and conducting product training sessions.
Collaborating with fellow sales representatives to deliver top-tier sales support.
Securing and renewing orders.
Coordinating product and service deliveries.
Nurturing and cultivating strong business relationships with key clients.
Recommending updates and upselling additional products to existing customers.
Researching industry trends and proposing innovative products and solutions.
Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Analyzing results and generating sales reports.
Participating in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
Experience and Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in pre- and post-sales activities, or 5 years as a sales engineer.
Experience gained in companies operating in the technology sector.
High School Diploma or a degree in a technical field.
Languages:
Proficiency in English, especially at a technical level. At least C1 certified internationally.
Proficiency in other languages is a plus, such as Spanish, German, or French.
Other Characteristics:
Availability for frequent worldwide travel.
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills with flexibility.
The ability to convey technical information to non-technical customers.
