Key Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be responsible for selling specialty Chemicals to Coatings (Ink, Adhesive & Construction chemical) and related industry.
- The candidate will be responsible for growth of sales and profitability of existing sales & new customer developments and will be responsible for North region.
- Candidate will also be responsible for mining out market information, through regular customer interactions, educating customers about specific product lines and closing business and maintaining such accounts.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Develop information by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
- Maintain proficiency in updating, tracking and submitting reports to Market Unit Manager.
- Adept at maintaining and updating customer data and feedback on a real time basis in Microsoft Dynamics software and has the ability to discuss commercial matters if need be.
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team.
- Should be willing to travel to meet customer for new projects, building relationship, understand needs and solve queries.
COMPETENCIES MUST TO HAVE:
1. Candidate with B. Sc, or Chemical Engineer as academic qualification.
2. Minimum 3-6 years of relevant sales experience
3. Ability to understand new products / applications relevant to these industries and able to effectively communicate about the same so as to handle commercial business and sales.
4. Strong communication skills, organized player with strong ethics.
