Hiring for a Business Development Leader – Industry 4.0 / X.0, in Singapore, role for a top tier global Digital Solutions, Consulting, IT Services and Systems Integration major.

Their comprehensive Digital Transformation platform, drives and accelerates the Mobile, Analytics & AI / ML, IoT / Industry X.0, Cloud and Social journeys of their customers. A tenured Technology major, our client has grown at phenomenal speed over the past few years with the Manufacturing Vertical including use cases involving advanced / emerging technologies like IIoT being a major driver.
Role details:
- Title: Director – Business Development (IIoT / Industry 4.0)

Role & responsibilities:
- Drive sales and achieve revenue targets for the IIoT / Industry X.0 portfolio, working with practice sales and service line sales teams, through own and sales team contributions
- Work with clients in building use cases and helping deliver these use cases in an agile manner working with the delivery and product teams.
- Leverage an existing network of contacts to create a strong sales pipeline
- Strategize and interact with internal pre-sales and delivery teams to pursue accounts
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
Candidate requirements:
- 10+ years of direct Technology sales experience, including the recent 4+ in selling Industry 4.0 / IIoT / Digital solutions, with a strong background of managing senior level relationships.
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore
- Experience in selling to client stakeholders in the Supply Chain, Retail, Warehousing, OT and EHS (Employee Health & Safety) areas.
- Software solutions expertise in ERP / MES / SCADA / PLM, with a working knowledge of hardware (compute / storage / networking)
- Solutioning ability in IoT / Digital Manufacturing platforms like GE Predix, PTC Thingworx, Siemens Mindsphere, Azure IoT, and AWS IoT solutions
- Hands-on experience in creating own client presentations, high level scoping documents and proposals.
- Experience working collaboratively with marketing teams and internal key stakeholders.
- Experience with onsite/offshore model and working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Results oriented and highly organised.
