Job Description
For a 5*L hotel in Lake Como, we’re looking for a:
Sales Manager
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager is responsible for the development of sales, achieving set monthly targets within the guidelines and goals set by the Department Head.
MAIN DUTIES
- Increasing the client base in all the segments through consistent solicitations while establishing trust and relationships with clients
- Aiming to generate and boost revenues for the hotel.
- Handling set of accounts, segments and territory as outlined by the DOSM.
- Developing new business from various leads, i.e. walk-ins, telephone inquiries, email, referrals according to coverage areas.
- Achieving monthly targets as set by DOSM based on Monthly production report of live accounts and other specific targets as laid out by DOSM in line with hotel's overall budget.
- Executing sales trips, under the direct approval of DOSM
- Planning and executing cost-effective and productive sales trips to the assigned territories to improve and increase our penetration of the market.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Solid knowledge of Sales
- Creativity and flair
- Good business acumen
- Strong work ethic and people-management skills.
- Minimum 3 years in Sales Management, preferably in a luxury 5-star Hotel or Hotel Group.
- A college degree preferably specializing in hotel management or business administration, or equivalent experience is required.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
