Manager Sales Injection Moulding Machines
Location: Delhi / Pune / Ahmedabad / Chennai / Bangalore
Reporting To: Managing Director (Pune)
Qualification: BE – Mechanical
Experience: 10–15 years (Preferred Age ~40 years)
Industry: Injection Moulding (All Electric Machines, 50T–500T) – Mandatory
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an energetic and result-oriented Sales Manager to expand and strengthen market presence in the Injection Moulding segment.
This role is ideal for a driven professional with solid industry experience, strong customer relationships, and a proven track record of delivering ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
• Leads and develops the sales team.
Strategic:
• Plan and execute the sales and go-to-market strategies together with MD and technical superiors
• Coordinate sales activities for direct and indirect channels in the market
• Report and translate relevant market developments and events to the concerning interfaces
• Ensure the distinguished cooperation with the service section to enhance customer satisfaction
Operative:
• Drive revenue & profit increase within current customer segments as well as developing new ones
• Evaluate and foster the performance of the team members
• Foster & maintain solid partnership with key customers and channel partners
• Ensure the effective and prompt business reporting to manager
• Ensure the effective crisis management
• Drive sales of Injection Moulding Machines (All Electric, 50T–500T) across the assigned region.
• Achieve annual sales targets of about 15–20 machines and about INR 15–20 Cr revenue.
• Develop and manage strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into orders.
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer requirements and market trends.
• Conduct product presentations and negotiations effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to management.
• Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
• Travel extensively (about 15 days per month) to reach target customers and develop new accounts.
Key Requirements:
• Mandatory experience in selling Injection Moulding Machines (All Electric, 50T–500T).
• Well-connected within the injection moulding industry with strong networking capabilities.
• Technical / Engineering bachelor’s degree or above
• Over 10 -15 years of experience working in plastic machinery company, ideally injection moulding machineries / competitors
• Several years of experience leading and developing sales team in the plastic machinery industry
• Successful track record on business development and new projects acquisition
• Excellent track record driving sales & profitability growth in India
• Solid experience identifying potential customers and maintaining strong partnership with existing customers
• Broad and sustainable network to customers in the plastic machinery industry
• Profound technical knowledge of the relevant product portfolio (small to mid-range of all electric moulding machines)
• Solid experience and proven record of developing sales and go to market strategies
• Solid experience of technology driven (and not price driven) selling
• Several years of leadership experience of sales team (similar industry)
• Self motivator
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s).
• Proactive, self-motivated, and result-driven with a go-getter attitude.
• Flexible and willing to travel extensively as required by the role.
