Job Description
For a luxury hotel in Venice, we are looking for a
Sales Manager - Leisure
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and providing dedicated account management support to a targeted portfolio of accounts with a focus on the US, Europe and Latin America luxury transient segment.
- Building and maintaining business relationships with key buyers by applying the principles of strategic account management to achieve account market share goals for the property.
- Developing strong partnerships with buyers for the purpose of penetrating and growing market share and driving account sales.
- Leveraging company’s products and services as a team member within their assigned account portfolio.
- increasing company’s preference, loyalty and profitable share within assigned accounts and contribute to overall Sales Team success through the direct sales efforts of revenue generation and value creation.
- Executes the overall account strategy for assigned accounts to generate and maximize business.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in the sales department for luxury hospitality companies
- Total account management experience
- Solid knowledge of US Leisure market
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational and collaborative skills
- Analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends
- Proactive and goal oriented, with an entrepreneurial mental attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
