Responsibilities: Identifying new areas for growth and specific prospects as well as nurturing existing client relationships in D2C Category to develop business opportunities
Our client is a Mumbai based production house that has worked with multiple Indian and international brands like TATA, TCS, Beardo, Daniel Wellington, Jack & Jones and P&G.
They have also tied up with studios like MPC (Disney's Jungle Book (India Line Production) and Wētā FX on numerous projects. They have been the exclusive production partners for multiple IPL teams, including the Mumbai Indians & Gujarat Titans.
They have creatively consulted on a feature film that won at Sundance and was sold to Netflix.
Their most recent endeavour is their newly launched online and features department working to create multiple web series and feature films, all while constantly putting out great advertising for brands looking to make impactful films.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for planning, direction and execution of new business development across the Indian geography , to develop and grow ‘new client’ revenue in accordance with targets.

You will be responsible for identifying new areas for growth and specific prospects as well as nurturing existing client relationships in D2C Category to develop business opportunities.

Ideally, you will have a network of Senior and C-Suite level contacts including CMOs, Client Servicing Head, Account Directors, Head of Content in upcoming and established D2C brands. You will be comfortable using a consultative approach with these contacts to understand their needs and be able to demonstrate capability to help.

Main Responsibilities

- Assess and nurture new business opportunities with a strong revenue target in mind
|
- Develop the new business strategy and pipeline with recommended marketing activity ensuring that the pipeline is in line with the agency goals and revenue targets.

- Lead the response to brief and pitching; lead and support the pitch teams.
|
- Develop strategies with fresh initiatives to meet the agency revenue goal.
- Approach Ad agencies (all sizes) and Digital/Social Media Agencies as well for film related work.

- 4+ years digital industry experience and knowledge (digital agency experience preferred).

- Proven extensive delivery of complex digital activity (campaigns, content, web and mobile experiences) and marketing communications to clients.

- Proven success in winning, delivering and retaining key clients.
