Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and controlling the sales budget and establishing annual operating budgets including marketing, travel and office expenditure budgets.
- Manage relationships with distributors and strategic partners for the purposes of educating and influencing their purchasing decision.
- Responsible for developing and growing a network of channel partners including but not limited to distributors, certified installers and VARs.
- Build C level relationships within other organizations.
- Coordinate all sales activities which include pricing, promotions, distribution and company policies and provide guidelines and direction to sales team on a regular basis relevant to the current competitive conditions existing, both as it relates to stock and project business; analyze sales statistics in order to determine business growth potential.
- Spend the appropriate amount of time in the field with Area Sales Managers assisting them in their selling efforts. Field visits should include meeting with current and potential strategic partners, end user calls for specification purposes and development of annual contacts.
Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field (preferably engineering); MBA highly desired.
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in Sales and Territory Management (leading a team) capacity in similar industry.
- Must have proven success record in a start-up company related to networking.
- Excellent hands-on experience in developing and improving sales for P&L management.
