The evolution of this market towards greater quality requires fruit and vegetable packing stations to guarantee external (colors, skin defects) and internal (sugar content, acidity, dry matter) characteristics. Thus, thanks to an ambitious R&D investment policy and its ability to innovate on cutting-edge technologies, this group has positioned itself as the leader on its market. The group is currently represented by 1100 employees including 120 engineers spread over 6 design offices and a consolidated turnover of 195 000 K€, In order to participate in the development of its subsidiary in China, the company is looking for a Sales Manager (M/F).
You will be based in the Yantai. You will develop sales by leading a team of technical salespeople and maintaining a customer portfolioYour main tasks:
- Managing the activity of YANTAI's company technical sales staff in order to constantly optimise efficiency, in accordance with the directives set out by the Management. To this end, you will ensure regular and rigorous monitoring of this activity by means of weekly reports to the Management, and you will participate in the setting of commercial objectives;
- The development of your own customer portfolio, according to the methods used by all our technical sales representatives;
- Assist the technical sales staff in studying the customer's needs, analyzing the specifications and drawing up the most suitable offer;
- The preparation of quotations and the development of the sales pitch for your portfolio; the supervision of similar actions carried out by your teammates;
- Strong participation in the presentation and defense of projects to clients. To this end, you will be the primary guarantor of coordination with the technical departments based in France for launch and manufacturing;
- Supporting the technical sales staff in the follow-up of the project from installation to full payment;
- As a true Manager, the management of all aspects related to the social management of your team, in conjunction with the human resources department.Your profile - Qualifications and diplomas:
- You have a technical background, graduated from an engineering school, ideally completed with a Specialized Master's Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, and have significant experience in sales force management and in the sale of process lines, ideally for the fruit and vegetable sector.
- You have a technical background and can analyze the needs of our customers. You are proactive and rigorous and are capable of modifying and costing complex packaging lines in order to provide an appropriate response to their problems and offer them innovative solutions.
- A true leader, you are able to listen and be dynamic in order to adapt the sales team's activity to the customer's needs on a daily basis. As an outstanding negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills, you are naturally positioned as a key player in supporting and satisfying customer expectations.
- Your availability to travel in China is necessary for this position.
- You are at ease with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Excel is required.
- Your sense of teamwork, your temperament as a developer, your tenacity and your availability will be your best assets to succeed in this position.
- Mandarin and English are essential.
Other:
The position will initially be based in France, for a period of training in our processes and techniques (minimum 3 months), then in our Spanish headquarters (minimum 2 months) and finally in our Chinese subsidiary based in Yantai.
You need to have a driving license.Salary and status:
- Range of €60-70K gross salary per year.
- Commission on directly managed sales of 0.3% of the net sales contract amount achieved by the company
