Position Title: Area Sales Manager / Key Accounts Manager / B2B Sales Manager
Work Location: Vimannagar, Pune

Reports To: Managing Director – India
Job Summary
Achieve and maintain profitable sales of Client Company coolants to selected Automotive OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers – Key and/or Global Accounts), Oil Companies, Marketers, Blenders, and Distributors across the country.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Propose improvements to business systems to meet customer requirements and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Coordinate product approval programs with OEMs in cooperation with the R&D department.
• Coordinate technical issues for worldwide OEMs headquartered in the assigned territory.
• Act as an active backup for other Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
• Work closely with different organizations for exhibitions. Collaborate with suppliers, designers, and colleagues to ensure the Client Company brand is well represented at exhibitions.
• Explore the market for potential customers, establish contact, and discuss business development opportunities. This includes delivering presentations and conducting technical as well as commercial discussions. Convert discussions into business opportunities and maintain strong relationships for consistent growth.
• Collect market information from various sources and share insights with the company. Coordinate with ASM-India and the Marketing Manager to ensure Client Company is well represented in print media.
• Actively manage credit and payment issues in cooperation with Accounts Receivable and Customer Service.
• Maintain relationships and business with existing customers by meeting their requirements and providing prompt support. Ensure price changes are implemented with each customer to avoid future loss or rework.
• Represent customer needs internally by reviewing requirements related to Quality, Environment, and Safety, and ensure the organization can meet these standards.
• Launch new products/projects through APQP processes.
• Prepare quarterly and yearly forecasts for planning and budgeting. Assist the Managing Director in preparing the annual budget.
Required Education & Critical Skills
• Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) from a reputed college/university.
• 8–15 years of work experience, with significant experience working with Automotive OEMs.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally.
• Good knowledge of English and Hindi (both spoken and written).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of chemicals, coolants, lubricants and additive formulations will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently.
