He/she will report to the owner president of the Company. The company runs an office in CLUJ and a representation office in Italy. Also forming local sales teams in France, Ireland, and GermanyPassionate and results-driven Sales Manager to manage and develop a team of inside sales agents focusing on B2B export markets in France, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Germany, and the US. The role involves strategic and operational leadership of the team, setting sales targets, developing new markets (Netherlands, Canada) and key customer relationships, and optimizing processes to ensure continuous sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Effectively lead and manage the sales team, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal and professional development. Able to form and coach new teams!
- Goal Setting: Set and communicate sales goals for the team, with a focus on meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a short and long-term sales strategy, taking into account the specifics of export markets and B2B customer needs.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key customers in the respective markets, understanding their needs and ensuring that the solutions offered are appropriate.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement effective processes for managing sales, reporting performance data and monitoring KPIs.
- Internal Cooperation: Working closely with other departments such as marketing and logistics to ensure alignment of strategies and workflows.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on team performance and export markets, providing analysis and recommendations to improve results.
- Team Development: Inspiring and motivating the sales team to achieve exceptional performance, developing their skills and competencies through ongoing coaching and training.
- Competitive Monitoring: Tracking and analysing competitors' activities and market trends, adapting strategy accordingly.
Requirements:
- Significant sales experience with experience in similar positions;
- Construction materials industrial exposure (significant portfolio of clients within PVC, ideally
- Previous experience managing a sales team.
- Solid knowledge of export markets, especially France, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Germany, and the US.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Goal oriented with the ability to work in a dynamic and pressured environment.
- Strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of English and preferably basic knowledge of French, German, or other European languages.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Sales, Management, Economics).
