For a wellness resort in Lombardy (near Lago d’Iseo), we are looking for a:
Sales Manager
Suggestive luxury resort in Franciacorta nestled in a large centuries-old park with a medical & wellness SPA of 2000mq, the resort is listed among the best luxury Spa Hotels in Italy.
The core approach of their medical and wellness treatments is based on the application of a famous method strongly rooted in the principles of medicine which stimulates body and mind to detoxify and activate the self-healing powers.
Reporting hierarchically to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Direct and oversee all pro/active and reactive sales activities for the assigned markets working in full synergy with marketing, reservations, and revenue team.
- Create and execute an accurate commercial plan for the SPA, identifying key strategies and activities based on the clientele.
- Co-ordinate the hotel’s sales activities with the aim of optimal room occupancy and high accommodation, as well as F&B sales, SPA, and other revenues.
- Constantly develop the opportunities with territory and local community to increase revenues for the Spa.
- Create and execute a selling strategy for the SPA based on the various clientele.
- Strategically plan for the seasonality factor, by targeting a wide scope of market segments suitable in providing a steady revenue stream during shoulder and low season periods, with the overall aim of extending the annual trading period.
- Participate in designated trade, service and community association and clubs.
- Represents the resort on sales calls, workshops, and trade shows on the assigned markets.
- Monitor, identify and report current and future business trends and opportunities to ensure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand.
- Monitor competitive hotels to ensure continual market share improvement. Monitor, analyze and report sales results.
- Pro-actively plans (for him/herself and the team) and execute weekly sales appointments, sales promotion, and follow ups, BOBs to achieve and exceed the revenue targets.
- Constantly and timely updates CRM software with sales calls, account information, tasks, projects etc.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role, featuring:
- Significant experience in a reactive and pro-active sales role.
- Preferred work experience in resorts with a high focus on Thermal SPAs and Wellness
- Computer literate and confident use of PMS and CRM.
- Strong analytical and strategic mind-set
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
