This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in business-to-business sales and a keen interest in building services and construction solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of direct B2B sales experience.
- Familiarity with the targeted territory and significant experience working within it.
- Proficient in the use of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, fleet, and logistics teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors is advantageous.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive sales by targeting and developing relationships with new and existing accounts in sectors such as general contracting, electrical contracting, mechanical, facility management, and restoration.
- Actively hunt for new business opportunities, with a focus on 80% hunting and 20% account management.
- Provide detailed product demonstrations, leveraging samples or catalogs to highlight key features and benefits.
- Develop and meet annual territory sales plans, focusing on revenue, profitability, and market growth.
- Accurately quote prices, contract terms, delivery dates, and credit terms to customers.
- Prepare timely business transaction reports and expense accounts.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer specifications and project objectives are met.
