Job Description
Our client, a European MNC that specializes in Electrical & industrial Automation is looking to hire a Sales Manager – South Africa, To expedite, share CV at [email protected]
Key Responsibility:
- Manage the portfolio of customers in Sub Saharan Africa region.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers. Builds and maintains relationships with key decision makers. Ensures efficient marketing communications.
- Identify opportunities with existing and potential new customers within Sub-Saharan region, determines plans for acquisition and allocates resources.
- The incumbent will be managing a team of salespeople - Establishes sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight.
- Define & implement improved sales plans, lead & support key pursuits with the team.
- Create, plan and implement sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with the local and global strategy.
- Achieve sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency within the Power, Water, Oil and Gas and Petrochemicals industries.
- Ensure achievement of sales volume by setting appropriate sales prices and margins for all sales proposals.
- Participate in the negotiations of key contracts.
- Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
- Take ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs that concern the sales team members.
- Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- Drives and ensures sharing and cross-collaboration.
Education& Experience:
- The Incumbent should be a team player, motivated sales professional, excellent Team Leader, and achiever in terms of his/ her annual targets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical OR Electronics engineering.
- Minimum 5 – 8 years in Electrical and Automation Systems in Sales.
- Preferred sales experience within the power, water and oil and gas industries.
- 3+ years in Senior Sales role.
