Position: Managerial role(manage 3 area sales managers)
Location: Warsaw Office - Poland (home office option 1 day/week)
Annual Gross Salary: competitive package + Company car.
Starting date: Immediate or Q1/2022
General of the role:
Safic Alcan Polska is looking for Sales Manager Poland - Plastics, a dynamic person who is customer orientated and takes pride on delivering a high level of customer service.
The successful candidate will need to have tenacity to maintain this on a long-term basis. Therefore, it is important that they have the capability to use their own initiative and work independently.
With a “can do” positive attitude who uses initiative to quickly, establish long-term relationships with their customers and suppliers.
The successful candidate will be expected to understand the technical nature for the wide range of raw materials that find their application in Plastics, in Poland
As such you will drive the success of Safic-Alcan in the territory, collaborate internally with other sales colleagues, Customer Service and Group Development.
Key focus is expansion of the sale footprint, in conjunction with Product/Stock-Management
This position reports to the Managing Director Safic Alcan Polska.
Mission – Keys responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain close supplier and customer relationship, and acquisition of new accounts
- Create and maintain a pipeline of unqualified, qualified, and targeted prospects within the area of responsibility.
- Drive Sales, Volume and Margin development at assigned accounts/territories, according to the Segment strategy by meeting and exceeding of Sales/Profit-targets
- Manage a team of 3 area Sales manager
- Manage assigned suppliers and product portfolio
- Report both internally and to suppliers on projects and financials
- Identify portfolio gaps and (in collaboration with Group Development) and gain new suppliers
- Provide technical expertise to support new business development
- Collaborate with the wider team to provide timely and effective fulfilment of unmet customer and market needs, leading to new sales of existing products and new products.
- Support Marketing activities (Promotion, Market Research, Competition)
- Communicate both internally and externally to key stakeholders.
- Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within area of responsibility
Qualification et Experience :
- Min. B.Sc. in Chemistry or related fields
- Min. 5 years’ experience in technical sales in Plastics - A strong Plastics background is desired
- A good network within the Plastics Industry in Poland
- Leadership and management experience
- Ability to understand and translate opportunities into new business
- Ability to solve problems, using the existing technical (selling) skills - also under stress
- Driver’s license, Standard IT-Skills (Office, CRM, etc)
- Flexibility and time for traveling
- Good communication skills (English; any other language is welcome)
